I believe the lady who first started this movement has suggested it be stopped. Here's the article. I suppose she has her reasons. But I think it should be an individual choice. Take care. xx ππ
I think it is probably a good idea to stop on a given date. If not, it will probably just petre out as people start to go about their daily lives and the rate of infection drops. That would give the impression that people have stopped caring about the brilliant work the nhs staff do, not just with Covid, but everyday.
This way, it is obvious that people have stopped because they were asked to, not because their appreciation diminished in any way.
So will I I've lost 3 family members with it they were in care homes and getting on in years but still very sad this was when it first started saying that though my eldest brother passed last sunday evening his funeral is next week on the 2and I wont be able to go because of the restrictions and I live in wales they live in Birminghsm my youngest brother lost one of his best friends half way through he was 56 I cannot thank the nurses doctors ambulance everyone who has voulenteered everyone has pulled together at this very worrying time I have to go every 3 weeks to hospital for infusions everytime I finish I clap the staff when I leave and I will continue to do do stay safe I just pray we are coming to the end god bless π
