Ok I cum from place having to deal with lung stuff . Never properly diagnosed this country . Only back here few years That not matter .butvlast yesr I had 69! The collapsed at home on own Very slow ambulance. So 9 days ventilations . So kept me alive . But no after care . On a trial lung stuff now all cancelled . I live alone . Worked my but off Africa no kids ect . Now what I do hear by doc friends. Simply cause had Tb malleria viral phnomia maybe immune system ok . Who knows

Hi, Balloo. Glad to hear you've come through all that awful time and are able to tell the rest of us. Hopefully the lung treatment trial will go ahead later on this year, once the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic has worked itself through. All the best.

I have been reading through your previous posts and I see you have had a very interesting life and have lots of different experiences in various countries. I’m glad you have lots of interests and support and a cat to keep you company. I was struck by one sentence you wrote in one post about the way one thinks causing chemical changes in the body because it’s certainly the people who are optimistic and have a don’t give up attitude that seem do well against all the odds.

I hope you are right about your immune system but don’t take any chances and stay safe then when all this is over you’ll be fit and ready for your lung op.

I would think your immune system is attuned to living in Africa. It takes a while for it to adjust to UK bugs & viruses and of course you'll have little or no immunity to corvid19 so do take care and take no risks. Hope your lung trail re-commence when all this is over. All the best, P
