I have a photo of my Dad sitting at the bottom of it during WWII when he was stationed in Nova Scotia with the British Fleet Air Arm. He was a gunner/navigator in swordfish aircraft and escorted the fleets out to sea, watching out for U boats. He had a wonderful war and lots of Canadian girlfriends. In 2010 I went to Peggy’s Cove and had my photo taken in the same place. A very moving moment.

Do not know Peggy's Cove but your painting makes it a place I would want to go. Normally I would have made a couple of trips to the coast by this time of the year but sadly the restrictions make my happy place unobtainable.
