Oh well back On Night Duty tonight, don't feel overjoyed at prospect but Nursing is one of those jobs You don't do for money. Really hoped I would get Shielding but Gold Standard is 49% and a year ago I was 52%, IDon't misunderstand me I'm glad to be a whole lot fitter than most people hereπ just terrified going into Confirmed Cases and of course 3 less beautiful souls we lost this week. Take care all and Stay Home ππ·
Why do I care? : Oh well back On Night... - Lung Conditions C...

Ski's and Scruff's x
I echo skischΓ²ol. I hope they consider your health and don't put you on the C19 front line....also hoping you're not in too big a city.
Thinking of you and all your colleagues β€
I too echo skis sentiments. I hope, if you speak to HR, they will take account of your possible vulnerability and make allowances. Cheered for you last night and am cheering for you now.
Stay safe.
Love cx
Thank you Coffee for the job you do . π You should have all the PPE as Skiβs said to help keep you safe in the job. Take good care of yourself , we need you and your colleagues. π π
Coffee queen i really admire you ! I have mild/ moderate copd and like you wondered if id get a letter to stay home. Nothing recieved yet & doubtful i will get one. I find the guidelines a bit confusing and contradictory to be honest
Please stay as safe as you can. I also work full time for the nhs but im in an admin role. Take care xx
Thinking of you all Coffee_queen and hoping you stay safe and well. Bless you for the job you do. Xxx
Me too, me too. ππππππ
Having worked in the care industry I can understand the Home needing you but it is worrying for you if you are unable to self isolate in the circumstances.
I hope that you will be able to stay safe when at work and that adequate protective equipment will be available. Best wishes xx
Hi
Have you taken advice on wether you should be at work? I also did not recieve a letter but I am self isolating as advised by the government, if you cant work with social distancing and are vulnerable then im sure you should have measures put in place, if not possible then remain at home
Take Care of yourself tonight, hopibg you have a safe shift
Stay safe and keep well. We are grateful to you and others that carry on doing such a wonderful job despite your conserns and worries . Thank you. π·
Hi Thank you for all that you do for the safety of the people in your care.Regarding letters being sent out I received mine this morning .I have been self isolating for a month anyway ,as Iβm aware what covid19 can do to people ,especially those with respiratory problems. So there may be quite a delay in letters being sent out.Its awful having to work and being continually anxious about this virus.
Iβm really shocked you are working in a care home with confirmed CVID cases. You are definitely on the vulnerable list with COPD!
Letter or none. CV is very dangerous for you. Stay at home, save your life and a nhs bed ??
I got sent home from the hospital I work at ( they had to do a staff risk assessment) I have Copd. Emphysema It goes against the grain with me but now I understand how dangerous for me it is.
Thank you for all you do. Hope you have the correct PPE. Where would we be without people like you. Stay safe xx
Thank you, take care of yourself, I too hope you'll be given the necessary equipment to protect yourself from this virus.
Stay safe and well.xxx
Itβs all been said by those above but just wanted to thank you for your dedication and please take good care of yourself.
Wishing you all the best
X
Thank you for all you are doing in your nhs role and as Skis says lets hope you get the proper ppe to keep you safe, bless you x
I hope you are being looked after, without people like you, we would collapse. Sending you flowers π π π
