Thank you 2Greys I was thinking of putting up a similar post. Some of stories and advice going round the social media at the moment are beyond belief. Over the years I have been a keen armature historian. During WW2 there was a law that made false reporting and the spreading of rumours concerning defeats or casualty figures a criminal offence. People were actually imprisoned for the offence. Never fully understood that law until now. False news is doing so much damage that I think some aspects of social media should be closed down.
