Has anybody had routella ornithinolytica in sputum sample?

Routella ornithinolytica has anybody else heard of this for bronchiectasis patient? Really poorly but responded to antibiotics

I've only recently heard of this. It is, apparently a new, emerging pathogen.

No I have not heard of it at all. What antibiotics were prescribed for you VELoce21? I hope you feel better soon. Just the name alone does not sound good! Best wishes to you.

Thank you for caring. I took my emergency antibiotics 500mg amoxicillin three times a day for 14 days. I am not acutely ill now but each infection leaves me worse off. I couldn’t pull myself up to a sitting position today. It’s left me weak

Thank you for your message. I am glad you are not ill now but feel for you being weak. Do you take any nutrients ie a tonic of some kind to build you up after these events. It obviously is a very debilitating illness. Do you have family there with you for support? A couple of years ago I had a really odd bacteria which was not seen a lot. Thankfully I got through it. I hope you start to pick up in strength VELoce21. Thinking of you and sending hugs from Oz.xx
