I think, the more people reading 'stuff' about Covid-19 willy-nilly on their phones, or Google news, is a good example, and Daily Mirror and the rest of the boulevard press, the more unscientific articles we are going to be confronted with. The media uses sensationalism to terrorize us, in order to sell more newspapers. And for some of us, who are over-anxious and really frightened, it can only be harmful! If we avoid crowds as much as possible, hand washing, and the usual things we do when flu is about, we are using common sense and not panicking, we will all feel more stable. I just wanted to say this today after bumping into some sad posts here. We can surely have our own opinions and maybe pass on something we have 'heard' from someone, personally, however, I definitely want to read only scientific information! I am also nervous, only go out if I have to and I have bought lots of staples in advance, when first I heard about this in December 2019. Sadly, I now have to traipse to the hospital at least once a week๐I wish us all well and safe, and pray that this also will soon pass! Loads of love to all my dodgy lung friends and beyond๐๐๐๐๐ค๐(๐ฅ๐ฅ๐) Spicy Bev xxx

FALSE INFO/CORONAVIRUS/INTERNET
Youโre right spicy Bev, letโs all do what we would normally do and stay safe.
I listened to the live broadcast from Dr. John that 2greys posted and heโs a good man to listen to. Very informative without scaremongering. Just what I needed really.
Take care and stay safe and well.
Love and hugs. ๐บ๐๐๐๐น๐
Well said Bev, I only go out if I have to o, and I'm lucky I suppose that I rarely get visitors. Being sensible and listening to good advice is what we should be doing, but I will admit it has me worried. You and everyone else have a good day and take care of yourselves ๐ Bernadette xx
Definitely have to be selective in what you read and double check accuracy before being so willing to believe. Mail, Sun and many of the on line newspapers can all be suspect, (in my opinion)
Yes, most of these just print pretty much rubbish as far as any accuracy goes, scaremongering!!
Nice evening Bkinโค๐๐๐ฅ
Thank you for that reassuring post. I agree, newspapers and google frighten you so best to avoid reading about these things.
We must stay in our own environment if we can, stay warm and stay positive.
Thanks for the post Bev, very reassuring and confirms what alot of us think. I have been a little housebound since having this shoulder op and have become quite happy not rushing around as I usually do. So think I will take advice and stay away from the crowds for the moment x
Hi lzbโ๐
Thank you for your message, I'm sorry to hear you have some pain after the op, I have known shoulder pain, do take it easy and it's also good to stay at home๐๐Enjoy an afternoon tea, maybe some cucumber sandwiches๐โบ๏ธ,which I loved as a kid, with sugar on them๐The sun is shining here and blue skies๐๐Bev xxx
Thanks Bev, I love cooking and in the kitchen most afternoons, I have a series of books that a friend downloaded onto kindle for me and have so many hobbies there are just not enough hours in the day, so will never be bored. I cant wait for the drier warm weather so I can get out into the garden, that I think is the best tonic and hopefully will build up my arm muscles. Stay warm and well x
