Speak to your oxygen supplier they will be able to arrange supplies for you if you give them the details of where you are going to be staying. :)

Enclosing a link with the info mine provides:

Hi Loosloafers, if you are already on oxygen contact your respiratory nurse and they will organise it for you, I normally visit my sister and brother in law several time a year in Peterborough and do this, they send the prescription to airliquide and they sort it to be delivered to where you are going.

I hope I have been some help.

Ian.

If with Baywater. Ring them up a week before. They will arrange for concentrator to be at your daughters and work out how many bottles you need. And give them date arriving and date leaving so they can pick up concentrator and any bottles left over. Take a spare one from home for your journey back. Baywater have done mine for several years for our holidays in the summer.

Thanks for the reply I’m not with them but will ask my supplier. Trouble is my daughter works long hours so would not be in through the day 😊

Book your holiday requirements through your oxygen supplier. With Baywater I have to give two weeks notice. Good luck

Hi Looseloafer,

I went to Bournemouth for a few days last summer and I rang my oxygen supplier a week before and gave the details of the hotel and dates I would be staying and my oxygen supplier rang the ones in Bournemouth to arrange delivery to the hotel which i had already had permission from.

At home I use cylinders and liquid oxygen so I only needed delivery of the cylinders. The other supplier rang me at home to let me know their phone number (which I needed to request replacement cylinders)

On arrival at the hotel I only had to asked at the reception for the cylinders and also leave the empty ones for the exchange.

Most supplier will deliver at the weekends or up to 7pm. Remember you will need to travel to your sister with at least two cylinders depending on how much oxygen per litre you use and you will need to have the same to travel back home again.

Hope this is of some help and have a good time in Birmingham.

God bless.

Maureen
