I hope you're all feeling well and as best as possible. I had a lung CT yesterday to check on the nodules, that disappeared, so waiting for news next week of that! I also had a breast screening on Wednesday and I have a lump. A year never goes by without a scare of something and now with the corona virus I cannot hibernate at home anymore, which makes me feel very unhappy more than anything else
actually! 😔I will have the results next Wednesday so I'm, once again, praying for a result of 'fat tissue' or something equally benign. Thanks for reading and I wish you all a great weekend ☀️💐🎈😊Spicy Bev🤗

Good morning Spicy Other Bev 😊 I'm sorry to know you're going through so much just now. I hope and will pray you get good news about the nodules and lump. What a lot to cope with. Life never seems to make things easy. Thinking of you and sending you love and good wishes 🍏
I understand exactly how you feel, I am now in a similar boat and not relishing the idea of more appointments with the new virus. Traveling on public transport is, I find, always stressful at this time of year, cringing at the sound of a cough. I am also going through that indeterminate "find" and that wait for results. Yes, it is always one thing after another. We just have to keep going, some how.
Yes, it's the typical minefield of life, the dodgy lung people are always on tenterhooks when it's flu season, which these days is always prevalent 😟. I just hope and pray and take the 'necessary' precautions, keeping to myself wherever possible, hand washing, cringing at the coughs in the bus😔Good luck and love to all of us, blessings for the weekend 2greys😊💐🎈🌞
I feel terrible when people say this, that they are cringing with the sound of coughing, as i always have a cough year round and I know people on the bus glare at me, they dont know I dont have a cold or virus or infection just a cough. I tell them I have an allergy but you can tell they dont believe me. I tend to walk most places but sometimes I have to catch the bus, what can I do x
I know how you must feel lbz1😔, but it's fear now, because of this new virus, a cough just feels so dangerous to hear, sorry about that. Have a happy Sunday anyway😊🎈🤗

Thank you for the Good luck teenirleek, good morning 😊🍀Would you tell me where you live, what part of the country or perhaps another country? I'm doing a bit of research where people are being treated or why they wait so long for results. There must always be a 'good' reason why people have to wait and I'm looking for it.
I hope you have the results soon and that it's very good news.😊Have a warm Sunday. Hug, Bev☀️
That is ridiculous to have to wait that long. Do you know if the holdup is due to the results not being looked at or that the doctor simply doesn’t set up an appointment to see you for that long? I generally get results in a day or two and often the doctor phones me with the results as soon as he gets them and then sets up an appointment it there is additional follow up and/or treatment required. I hope and pray the results are not anything serious.
Yes, there weeks is too long to have to wait for results. I wonder what their excuse is?? You could call and ask, if you haven't already done so, do that teenieleek!! Let me know their response. In the meantime you're in my thoughts and prayers, I send BIG HUGS🤗🤗💐❤🙏Bevxxx
Good morning Liz, thank you so much! I love receiving positive thoughts and vibes, makes it so much easier especially when one feels alone😊🎈❤Super Sunday💯💐❤
I hope you get a positive outcome on both issues. I have read peoples comments regarding waiting times & can not believe how quickly they get results. I have several lung nodules & ground glass effect in both lungs & wait months after each CT before I get results. Currently waiting had scan in Jan & rang last week re follow up & told will be April at the earliest. I’m on 3 monthly CT’s so next one will be due before I get the results of this one! Crazy. Sorry for the rant let us know how you get on.
I can't comprehend that at all! I am absolutely speechless! In which county or country are you ?
I am so sorry to hear this and you're not ranting but you have every right to rant! Thank you so very much for your good vibes, I am hoping on both accounts for the best possible outcome. Please keep in touch with me. Talk to you soon, I hope👍😊Blessings, Bev
I’m in Leeds but having a tough time with RA not controlled for past 3 years so getting more & more lung problems. My previous CT was Oct last year but then in hospital in Nov with Pneumonia they discharged me a day early as I had a Respiratory follow up & was desperate to get the results. At the appointment my Consultant looked at the scans but it had still not been reported on but he could see the inflammation & larger nodule. I wait for these results believing that if anything was showing they would get in touch with you but in fact no one has even looked at the scan a month later!
Now 3 months later I’m in the same position. I’m getting so angry & frustrated with it all.
The worst part was prior to being admitted to hospital I saw my GP 3 times with breathing problems & ongoing cough over that month & every time he missed the infection. I am now seeing a different GP in our practise as so angry with him.
Hi Otto, well now you have a new GP talk to him about this, if you haven't already done so, they are supposed to chase up results if the waiting time is too long. Which hospital in Leeds, the Infirmary?
I will always reply to anything you send me, so that you're not alone with this. Talk soon 👍
Unfortunately my GP won’t get involved because I live in York but have been under the care of Rheumatologist in Leeds for over 20 years ( a long story). Rheumatology found the lung disease on screening for new Biologics so they referred me still in Leeds to LGI ( the infirmary) so all reports go back to Rheumatology not my GP. Both areas are on a different system & don’t share information. Crazy in this day & age. So I’m the middle man!
Don’t misunderstand me my GP will get a clinic letter after any appointments but won’t get the actual report of scans etc.
