Hi everyone, Many of us have to spend long spells of time indoors due to chest infections, recovering from operations and many other reasons.
I have found something that helps me to fill in time in an interesting way. It's called on line learning. There are hundreds of interesting subjects to choose from, history, autism, indoor gardening to name just a few of them.
These are free courses which engage your particular interest. There is no pressure of exams or even to get things right. I would encourage you to just find out about it and you may well be glad you did. I have participated now for about 6 months and thoroughly enjoy the experiences. Just go online and tap in the following.....Free on line Learning. Give it a try you won't be sorry. Chrys

Yes, so am I. I just enjoy learning something new or adding to the knowledge I already have. I have just finished one on Richard red (found in Leicester car park). There are many free on line courses but the one I particularly like is as follows...
Future Learn.com.
When you tap it in a selection come up so give it a try. I'd love to know how you get on. I particularly like history and there's a number of ones I fancy doing. All for now, Chrys
Hi, I have to admit that after looking around various sites offering free learning courses I haven't found anything that 'grabs' my interest enough to commit to enrolling. I hope that you are still enjoying your studies.
Hi, Well more and more subjects are added regularly so don't give up. I have found there arent any that catch my interest recently but, so what? Believe me the courses are not difficult and you could just give one a try to see what's its all about. I recently started one about forensics and didn't really enjoy it as much as others so I just dropped out. Nobody chases you to finish it.
Thanks for this information and i will deffo be having a look at the courses on offer compared to the ones on a similar site called FutureLearn. Anything that keeps our grey matter in use can only be good!
