HAVING A 1 MONTH BREAK IN BENIDORM. Today been to a market at La Cala Finestrat. The market was a steady climb, uphill of at least half a mile. But had no problem at all. No puffers for help. 2 pictures of our resort 1 from our hotel balcony down to the sea about a 15 min walk. Hope your all keeping as well as can be. Brian

I worked in La Cala de Finestrat, for an Abogado (Solicitor)5 years before we opened our Restaurant in the Mountains at the back of Benidorm. Loved the Little Playa and Row of Restaurants, The Market was a Treasure, Stayed in the Hotel many few Times overlooking the Playa, also Hotel Bali, so many wonderful Memories. Thanks for Sharing. What no olive groves,acres of vines or a local bodega.it sounds like hell,but save me a seat Carino,i will put up with the high rise dwellings and the kiss me quick hats just to languish in that beautiful sunshine.

I know Hun done it many times when fit & Healthy. lived in Spain for 28 years. The body couldnt do the long Haul let alone the Lungs. Down to 17% Fev 1, so no long distances by road. I talk to my Family via Wassap most days. I have Daughter/ Granddaughter coming over on the 26th, so they will bring the Spanish sunshine to me. Xxx

You will have a great time music. Was brought up on Benidorm 40 yrs ago by my Mom and Dad. Plenty to do and see. You can anywhere for 1 euro 50 on the buses here. Brian

Usually about 15 to 16. But can be a bit wet. These are the 2 worst months. Brian

It looks lovely. My husband is desperate to get me to Spain, for my lungs!

Could you have walked up a similar hill in the UK, without puffers?

Would you recommend the Benidorm area?

A bit confused by which bit of Spain to look in first, as it is so vast and obviously very hot in the summer.

As Hacienda says Costa Blanca is 1 of the best areas for quality of health. Yes would recommend Benidorm. Mainly all on the flat. Places to visit for 1euro 50 on the bus. Would recommend the end of October/November time. Its a lot less busy but temperature still around 25. Brian. If u need anymore help feel free to ask. Hope u get here soon and Enjoy
