I love this poem and am going to use it as my new years resolution. I love the epitaph on Spike Milligans grave too. It says....I told you I was ill didn't ? A good start to Boxing Day!

How on earth did I miss seeing your posts on here when you joined back in October! A belated welcome to the group. I'm a great fan of 2greys and I went with you on two of your holidays on the broads. At least it felt like that when reading the vivid reports written and posted on here. Spike was a much underrated poet and Smile is one of his best, thanks for reminding us. 🙂

I think that is a lovely poem , I'm going to share it with my Breathers group in the new year. I always smile at people when I'm out and about and nine times out of ten I get a smile in return. 😁
