Just walked dog and my estate has no lights, so use my phone torch. Fell over knee killing and wrist, trousers ripped and apparently this new build estate crest Nicholson say we don’t have to provide light. Furious

Oh bless you Vonnie. Send photos to Crest Nicholson and tell them what happened to you. Street lighting is essential. If no response, take things further.

What a shock for you. Xxxxx

How awful for you- hope your knee isn't going to be too sore . Send a photo to Crest Nicholson and your local council and say what has happened. Best wishes to you xx

Ouch Vonnie that looks sore. I am sure that street lighting is the responsibility of the council, get in touch with them straight away x

Oh that looks very painful Vonnie. What a shock for you, and so annoying to have ruined your trousers. I agree with sassy about contacting the builders, but perhaps also your local councillor and MP.

Take it easy now until you feel better. Award yourself a very relaxed Christmas! :)

That looks very sore and probably very bruised by today, take care. As for lights its a grey area these days and even the council are turning them off to save money. I would enquire with your local MP.
