I can't find the words to describe the feeling I experienced when this photo came up Blackbird. It was a deep intake of breath followed by Ohhhhh! so beautiful. I have said it before and I'll say it again, such photographs capture the beauty of our country and when shared lift our spirits. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts. We thankfully are safe from the fires. Our area had a catastrophic fire warning on Tuesday and warnings all the week. The smoke and dust was not fun. But I feel for all those who have been impacted by the fires.

I will tell you ,and you only ok ..... that nut gathering is such hard work nowadays. Less trees,less nuts you get the picture. So a few of us squirrels gather up our shiney coins that we find and go to Lidle's, where a huge bag of our favourite nuts is only 1 big shiney coin!! Don't tell anybody 😂😂💞
