Start of a chest infection

Hi everyone, well ive been to doctors after a few days of worsening breathing and coughing up the usual signs and on anti Bs and steroids for a week. Hopefully caught it early. I thought I may get one after waking up choking due to being sick and inhaling it (and I sincerely hope no-body is eating supper). I havent done that for a long time and to be frank dont really want to again. My wife helped me and what a horrible feeling, trying to gasp to cough but nothing happening. Not to worry, will be on the mend soon. Hope everyone else is ok

Sounds like you caught it early which is really good as it will lessen the deterioration on your lungs. Keep warm and cosy and hope you recover soon.

Best wishes

Steroids are wonderful things. Must have caught it early because it feels like it is definately breaking. Thankyou for your reply and concern

I hope that you are feeling better today? Man, that was an ODD and NOT FUN thing to go through. Get lots of rest and let us know how you are.

I, too, have the beginning of another chest infection :-l - haven't decided whether or not to make the EFFORT of going to the Doctors today. I PREFER to get well on my own, but as we all know -- that often isn't the wisest or most prudent thing to do.

Anyway- be well.

Thankyou. Infection is breaking thanks to the steroids (usually quite quick if I catch it early). Hopefully last one for a while. Take care

It is that time of year I suppose. I have been a bit rough myself this last 14 days or so. Take care!

I had a nasty chest infection recently and had a weeks course of steroids afterwards as I found it difficult to improve. Am now ok, so hope you are feeling a bit better. All the best Happyhare

Thankyou. Thankfully the steroids are doing their stuff and it feels like its breaking so I must have caught it early
