I refuse to down size
And whilst I'm still about
If there's something that I want
I will not go without.
Don't want a small apartment
In fact I think I may
Buy that lovely castle
That I saw the other day
I'll change my little Aygo
For a Bentley or a Rolls
And drive down all those places
That have such heavy tolls.
So when I finally pop my cloggs
Folk are going to say
Where did all the money go?
There's all these bills to pay!

Personally I wouldn’t want to drive round in a Rolls or Bentley. I much prefer my Yaris and I’m sure you enjoy your Aygo and campervan really. I certainly wouldn’t want to live in a castle but I do think you should do what makes you happy regardless of cost if you can afford it.

Well that is kind of them. 🙂 Whenever I’ve taken part in group activities there always seems to be a lot of ‘Willie waving’ goes on (pardon the expression) i.e. my ailment is worse than yours or I have more of them and I try to avoid getting involved. I do have quite a good collection myself which are controlled as well as can be expected with drugs, sprays, pills, tablets, ointments, drops, inhalers, processes plus help and understanding from this lovely group of people. Now I’ve even been offered a share in bling? I have good days and bad days which probably shows in the stuff I write.

That would suit me. 🙂 It annoys me that holidaymakers complain about the seagulls so much that some councils are taking steps to eliminate them! What they call screeching is music to my ears. 😊

I dont fancy an apartment either, Don, and wouldn't suit Midge! Trouble with buyng stuff on line, am not always happy with it, but then its too mch trouble to return it, so more clutter in this over full bungalow!

It's people like you and I, Iris, who have made Amazon the great success it is. No I don't keep copies of my poems, the only family I have is my daughter and she doesn't even know I write poetry. Horses and beagles are her thing. My poems are just for the members here. 🤗
