Very sad update

My husband was discharged from hospital Monday evening and was so pleased to be coming home after 6 weeks in hospital .The two diagnoses from two consultants hadn't changed.One said his aortic stenosis was severe and the other said mild.The family and I had altered a downstairs lounge to a 2 single bed room, and had a portable rolling commode.We had two good days but on Thursday ,while the Carer was with me ,he collapsed and was rushed to A &E.He had 3 cardiac arrests and passed away .We are all shocked as this shouldn't have happened.The Dr wouldn't sign the death certificate and it has now been referred to the Coroner. Oh my dear, There is nothing that is going to comfort you at the moment. It is a terribly difficult time and I understand how you are feeling as the same thing happened to my husband 16 years ago. Hi so very sorry with the loss of your husband..My dad who was 83 passed away 2 weeks ago..He had the severve aortic stenosis too.He had no surgery, but had lots of appointments to look more into surgery at some stage..My dad went into hospital with blood in his stools,the very next day he had a cardiac arrest and passed away.. We are all in shock as it was so sudden Dads having a post mortem, as we was not to happy with the hospital ..If you want to chat anytime ,I will be there..Big hugs. Xx

So sorry to read of your loss My thoughts are with you at this time of year. My hubby has heart disease and was told 3 weeks before a massive heart attack( crudely called a widow maker ) . that his was heart by the g p this was after he had complained of a tight feeling in his chest and other symptoms and so we felt we had nothing to be concerned about .luckily he is still with us but is not in good health and is a invalid because of this .He had his heart attack when he was 37 years old
