About 100 yards upstream from the sinking cottage.

That's what is so relaxing - on a boat, gliding along on a Autumn day. Gentle movement of the boat, fresh air and taking in the views of the countryside. Sometimes seeing an unusual site such as the house and horses. What more do you want? Looking forward to the next episode.

How lovely. Thankyou for sharing. I am having a bit of a challenging time with my 3 closest friends all suddenly going through the cancer thing and me with a chest virus. So taking this holiday with you is doing me the power of good. xx

Of course, my pleasure to share. I hope you recover from your infection as quick as I did. The sun was shining when the pictures were taken this morning and surprisingly warm, at 17 degrees, for mid October.

I also hope your friends can pull through successfully, cancer is a right bitch with the additional mental trauma it creates.

That's lovely, think I'd be worried about being so close to the water though - especially having seen the sinking cottage.

The number of people who sail past this lovely house, probably have to do the "double take" thing. So glad you seem to have something that speeds up the recovery from pneumonia ..... that being your inner strength to get away on your planned vacation and look how well you are doing. I hope not pushing yourself too hard but you know your body and the signs to look for. All in all, you are seemingly having a terrific time! Good on you!!πŸ‘β›΅πŸ’žπŸ΄

I do have a failing though, being stubborn, that is hard to balance with sensible. But we all have different personalities, limits and strengths. Like many here, I am still learning, on a personal level, how to cope and manage this cursed disease, along with how it all changes along the way as well.
