Can prednisolone cause rashes have rash on arms blotchy bit itchy but I have chest infection so taking them with antibiotics

Yes i also have blotchy bits on my arms. They come and go all the time even now when im off prednisolone

That's what mine does. One of respiratory nurses at the hospital said didnt think anything to worry about the prednisolone can affect people in different ways.like you say just comes up on bottom half of arms then starts to disappear. And antibiotics dont help.

It could be the antibiotics. They can cause a rash.

They changed my antibiotics never thought of that. They are sort of botchy

I was given Trimethoprim ABs which caused a nasty blotchy rash. My GP took me off them and said that I haven't to have them again. Your ABs could be the problem? They tried me on Prednisolone but I couldn't tolerate it, very upset stomach and I developed the shakes!!

Yes, Every time on Pred, and Now after Pred, I only have to brush my arm gently on a Door, and there it is, Instant Red Bruise, mainly my Arms though, I put Savlon on to lessen the bruises going Bigger.
