Ti's morning now dear Pennzy and i hope that your head is clear after perhaps one to many scotches, enjoy that mini break as you certainly deserve it. xxx
I confess to a bit of a headache....! But the lovely breakfast seeing it off, with a couple of paracetamol. Thanks, Mikeski. I’d be feeling happier if we’d beaten Wolves, but can’t have everything xx
Yes, yes, yes. Love it. Just woken up in our currently hectic household. Nine family members in the Guide Cottage just down the road. Elder son now resident here, younger son just arrived here from Inverness with wife pregnant with twins. Probably accounts for my patchy participation here. Much to tell about a squabbling William of Ockham and Zebra...
You'll be wealthy, famous, and running from animal humane society.
Strewth Mike, i’m sitting here on the side of my bed crying at five o’clock in the morning. How the hell did this happen. You have no idea how much I appreciated that. Don & Snoring Midge xx
How can you be surprised? Did you not know how much we love you and so appreciate your rhymes? Doh... Silly chump. Look into Midge’s adoring eyes and know that it’s replicated by all of us here.
I was in shock Kate. I’ve been called a sheepdog out of control in one man and his dog, drug fuelled and the group bully. So seeing that heading I expected the mother of all put downs! 😅
Sorry Master Po,i know it wasn't up to your standards but i didn't intend to make you cry?it would appear that for you laughter isn't the best medicine. x
It was the shock, you shouldn't do that to the elderly. Now I am really am embarrassed. (Well okay, it was very very funny as well.) (And well written as well) 🙄
What have you done to us this morning Skis. I woke feeling really sorry for myself. The last week I have been suffering with a torn tendon in my shoulder and it has been agony to say the least but your poem has put me back on track and couldnt agree with you more, Don's poems always cheer us up x oh! Love the picture, just how I imagined you ha!
Def not your doppleganger Don, think your picture shows a much more handsome chap ha! Thank you for your good wishes x you both have quite a fan club on here.
Irene, you seem to be a recipe for mishaps and horrid ailments at the moment but i am glad i managed to put a smile on your face. get better very quickly and btw the picture is of the Master not his grasshopper. xx
Ha! trust me to get it wrong. Yes ailments are a nuisance at the moment, should have had this op last year but backed out as its a long recovery and like you I dont have anybody to look after me for that long and the pain subsided so thought I was ok until I washed the kitchen floor on hands and knees last week, that will teach me x
I know, have a range of steamers, mops etc but they dont get it really clean, looks like I am going to have to change and pronto, must be my army training eh!
Ha! so glad it isnt just me Knitter. Yes the army has alot to answer for, they used to inspect our quarters on handover and woe and betide if things weren't just right, hubbies used to get called in and given a dressing down so always kept on top of things and think that has stayed with me. Although if I had known my shoulder problem hadnt healed the floor could have stayed dirty. We must be barmy ha! x
Oh here she comes, letting the side down as she's (me) totally rubbish at rhyming. However,I still want to agree with skischool and all the other members who've posted in reply about @Don-rhymer ... Mr.D. is worth his weight in gold for the number of people he cheers up at the beginning of each day! Mr. D. you have served us well with your cheeky rhymes, your cheerful outlook on life and letting us get to know the 3 women in your life .... Midge,Scarecrow Sally and Dolly!
Dear skischool , I will very happily take your message as a compliment from a Master of whit and character who embraces everything that comes his way .... In other words my dear friend, you may get a Christmas card from me this year, but no promises depending on whether the postage has gone up!
Seriously, we need more folk with your outlook on life, even when things look down, you are seeming to be able to rise above it all !! All power to you my friend.
Must go now as my nuts need to be collected else next doors red squirrel(pest) will steal them, lol. xx
It's a one off Jane,i am sober now.Scruffy just threw up,i am not sure if it's the dodgy meat i fed her or she has just learned to read my posts lol. x
Carino Mio, y Scruffita tambien. Siempre con un Corazon muy Grande. You Both have a Big Heart. Along With Mr. D, Midge, Dolly, Scarecrow & Sally. Forever making us all smile and Feeling the Love, The Forum should be Renamed after you Both. "What makes you Laugh, Does you Good" so, come and Join in the "The Love Train to happiness" all pets welcome. Muchos Besos xxxxx
Carino, cleaning up Scruff's mess after projectile vomiting of out of date turkey breast slices means i have had to disembark from your 'Love train' but you carry on your roller coaster journey of life and don't forget the lippy. xxx
I Hope she is ok now, no more out of date compressed meat. Stay with the Tuna, My Princess has Chicken most days, Cooked with Love from me or Hubby, few carrots in , no Peas she hates them. Big Cuddle for Scruffita , is she still talking to you? It could take a few days of Sulking Carino., XXX
She is fine Carino, cats have an uncanny way of ejecting food that they know is not good for them within minutes of eating it,so treats and alternatives were offered and consumed and she is now happily sat behind my back as my lap is only available during the evenings lol xx
She's a canny Lass for sure, Your Back is the Warmest place during the Day, Your Lap more so in the evening. I can see a smile on her little face, as I can see yours Carino. Besitos. C. XXXX
Ha ha well he was found guilty and when they couldn't hang him commuted his sentence to imprisonment instead. He served around 20 years then emigrated to the USA. xx
