Pure gold.
Don't ask, don't tell.
Hilarious!
Thatβs a good one!
I wish I had taken a picture but I took someone to Salisbury District Hospital a year or so ago and as we were leaving about 3 people came out of doors to our left with their dogs, they were therapy dogs or something and allowed in.
Anyway, myself and the person I was with were both surprised, not realising that there were therapy dogs allowed into the hospital and my friend must have asked what was going on.
As it happened, one of the owners grinned as he pointed to the name on the sign from where they had appeared, and honestly they had been in βThe Stroke Unitβ cheering up people who had suffered strokes I presume.
The guy I had brought up is definitely not the sharpest chisel in the box. His reaction was absolutely classic as he briefly believed that there was a unit there in Salisbury Hospital where one can stroke dogs. And it even had its own signs and everything.
Honestly, I was actually a bit embarrassed for him there for a while after I wiped my tears of laughter away.
Classic!!
Having been a frequent visitor to my local stroke unit on behalf of my wife who suffered one and to tell you the truth the bloody dogs would have been more beneficial in her treatment than the staff i observed.I think the guy you where with deserves more recognition than you prescribe him
Yes, I can think of some medical professionals I have met who I would have selected to be replaced by dogs for better care and probably a greater medical knowledge, if it was a choice between them or the dogs.

Ha Ha! Nice one.
That's very funny skis. Surely everyone can see the funny side of it, or maybe not. Not everyone has our sense of humour. Having a good chuckle anyway., so thankyou for posting it. xxπ
And there is me thinking you had been behaving whilst I have been away, looking at your posts I am not so sure my friend. Scruffy has been sleeping far too much and has been sadly lacking in his duties, shall be having a purr down his ear x
Irene, you are determined to change the sex of my cat and she isn't having any of it,she says i might not be the most attractive feline on the patch and i may be a bit scruffy but there is no way anybody is going to call me tom oh and by the way she hopes you had a nice time and the aches and pains have settled down a bit. x
As always you miss nothing, sorry scruffs think I have early dementia and am feeling sleep deprived, due to too much alcohol and too much nattering into the early hours, which always helps the pain, my excuse for self medication ha! I KNOW you are female and love you for being so, but you have to get a grip of your slave x
Scruff's accepts your apology.the early dementia has been noted, just in case you forget it and she assures you that the human slave has been gripped accordingly. x
Well, according to some religion man on the tv the other day, that is the reason we have gay people In this world??? Maybe he knows more than we do lol xx
I think this man of religion is possibly skating on thin ice and such statements may bear the wrath of our Lgbt community so distance yourself from this evangelist and watch something like newsnight,it's safer.
I agree....he is a total nut job!! X
I didn't mean in any way to rebuke you and i certainly don't bat in the same wicket as the said community but even in humour we can be targeted by them as being anti and phobic even in their support.it's become a very complicated world. :)x
I didn't take it that way, and understand what you mean about being politically correct nowadays. Just couldn't believe what i was hearing from the preacher the other day, his ideas are totally bonkers lol xx
ππ€£ well that definitely made me chuckle π€£
I doubt that Mr K Everett ever did anything in the best possible taste - how wonderful he was!
Definitely one of my favourites . . . . .
