Safe saturation levels

Checked my sats after 2 minutes light excercise was 88 is that safe when back up to 97 after I stopped after a minute

Hi

Although safe it’s a large drop from 97% is this your normal sats level.

No harm in asking your respitory nurse.

My normal resting is 98 97 100 just scared me as I don't know if it when lower whilst exercising as only checked after because of headache sat down it's 99

That sounds just what I get. Do you leave your oximeter for a while to settle down before you take the reading. Mine doesn't work properly straight away

Mine are 93 can drop to 76 just a dozen steps on oxygen so yours are good best wishes

That's after excercise don't know if it drops lower on oxygen

No it doesn't drop lower on oxygen just the opposite

You really have nothing to worry about Victoria 46 keep exercising your sats are excellent
