Interesting experience- visited an architectual reclamation yard- within minutes breathing affected (I am not asthmatic)- inhaler sorted that ok. Next morning- felt like I had been hit with a bus. My reaction- yo- found an trigger after 2yrs+ of searching. GP found mid left lung full of wheezes and crackles. Incredible- just minutes to trigger my hypersensitivity pneumonitis. Hoping the predisolone (that I react badly to) sorts that. Fortunately expecting a Consultant appointment in the next week or two. GP described my respiratory system as now "v twitchy" - I like that.

It could be even more useful if you can remember what you might have touched or inspected or even closely observed during your visit as that may direct you to a specific material.be it metallic or organic?

Hope you recover rapidly and your v twitchy system settles quickly.Please let us all know if you find a culprit,

Thanks for the reply. I think the room with the old wood and coal burners etc in was the culprit. GP thinks it may be fungal and soot linked- I'd tend to agree. That's eliminating lots so a big step forward. Breathing easing so I am continuing with the Pulmonary rehab course- all be it a bit more gently. Onwards...
