Hope the sun shines tomorrow don, then you can all tootle off to market. Raining here too, miserable and the town is full of holiday makers. Don't know what s happened to flaming June. Jane
We are watching the rain through the window in Aberystwyth. So we're not that far from you. Yesterday was ok and we wandered along the prom with me on my scooter .
That's a great picture Don and very typical of Wales whenever we visit. But between you and me I quite like the odd rainy day when we're away - as in 'oh dear, look it's raining - I'll have to have a quiet day in my cosy camper reading my books and doing my puzzles...'
I hope it clears up for you soon so that you can get out and enjoy the lovely Welsh air.
We'll be off to points north on Sunday for a few weeks, doubtless stopping with the son in Southport en route again. I'm pretty sure that up in Scotland I'll have plenty of opportunities to catch up with my reading!
Looks like you are having a good time and the view looks fab, although Midge looks a bit like Sally, what are you doing to them Don ha! Hope the day is brighter for you tomorrow. Manchester has been very wet this afternoon x
Itβs stunning! Iβd love to have a camper van so that me and Sara could take the girls on adventures. We used to go camping but it doesnβt agree with me any more if you know what I mean lol π
It seems so very cosy, warm and comfy inside. Just looking out at the softness of the rain, the greyness of the sky - and the tranquility of the view - who needs the sun Cap'n? Enjoy each day as it comes . . .
Mr Don, Your camper van looks marvelous! Also, all the cute women at your side! Midge looks comfortable, yet very relaxed! But the steering wheel on the camper...is what caught my eyes! I can't imagine driving, clearly way over... on the other side! I don't know how I would handle that.....Oh boy,That was a Great surprize!!! Janet127
My bad legs limit the amount of exploring I can do but my motorhome is small enough to get most places. Unfortunately height barriers seem to be springing up in some my favourite places. Read your good new BTW wonderful!! ππ
Wednesday morning and the rain has stopped. Bet you have been mushroom picking already Don. When we were kids going to perranporth each year our dad pulled the camper van into a field for the night. We Always woke to the smell of bacon and mushrooms that he had picked earlier. Hope it stays fine for you Don. Jane
Thank you Jane, I used to take the family to Perranporth often, called in a couple of years ago hardly recognised it and they had installed height barriers to keep me off my favourite parking place.
Lovely Don. Many years ago had great weekend in Barmouth as a friend of my husband had a house there overlooking the estuary. It had a fantastic view.Great walking country too. Enjoy yourself with the ladies and Midge.
Fingers crossed for better weather Don. I used to go to Barmouth a lot as a child and was only thinking of revisiting it the other day. Midge looks comfy x
Hi. Hugely envious. I'm exiled in Norfolk but my home is north Wales. Love the Welsh rain and used to love campervanning but can't now. Soak up the wonderful experiences on my behalf.
