Lovely day...

Took a trip to the Borders today to go to Dawyck Botanic Gardens. I've been a few times and its very hilly but it's starting to look very pretty. The blue poppies are starting to flower and the Rhododendrons but still waiting for the Azaleas.

It was nice to get out in the fresh air but blimey I think I'm going to feel it!

It's well worth a visit but its a bit of a tough walk but the feeling of achievement when you get to either the viewpoint or dynamo pool is amazing and the great thing is its all downhill from there! Plus the reward of cake and coffee at the end is well worth it!

It looks lovely. Im glad you had such a lovely time.

I haven't been out today, it's windy and rainy. My friend came round for lunch though and we had a good chatty time.

I'm still a bit up and down at the moment, but on the mend. I need to be OK for next week, I'm working away.

Thanks. I do hope you are on the mend Lynne, Especially if you are working away - I was in Cardiff for a few days and panicked because I forgot my rescue pack.

It's awful to think you are doing ok and then get the knock back of an exacerbation. Chin up my dear x

Thanks Blakey - it's a lovely place if though its challenging. I want to go back each weekend to see the changes but I don't think that's possible!

Great stuff Marie, challenging is good so keep it up. Go easy on the cake at the end though even though you have earned it.
