Pip form need help
Hi google for a disability service in your area. There should be one. Then contact one and ask them to come out of you. x
Yes you can telephone BLF or you can contact your local Welfare Rights, CAB or DIAL. Ten days is not very long but if you have to wait for an appointment with a benefits expert, I believe you can ask for an extension but please check this out with a benefits expert.

Hi Cazza idont know how old you are,but age concern came to my home and filled it out for me ,age concern has changed its name now I carnt remember to what though it is something similar
Hi Alice70 I'm 58
You can get help to fill it in just remember it's how your illness affects you daily not what the illness but how it affects you doing day to day things be careful as they lie alot so be on your guard plus if you can walk more than 20 feet without stopping they class you fit for work even with oxygen..
Scandalous the benefit system total disregaurd for the people that actualy suffer long term illness COPD is ruining my wifes life and it's painful to watch and see and be powerless to do anything about it
Hi, if you Google for Citizens Advice they have a step by step help for completing PIP form it's really good. Remember to complete all question with you worst days result. Good luck.

Try these it helped me get my PIP the advice is invaluable
Also the daily living questions mention breathlessness answer regarding that. I.e. if you can get washed and dressed physically but it causes breathlessness state that. I hope this helps.
DWP will usually give you a 2 week extension if you ask. BIIT you must ask and be absolutely sure of the new return date for the form.
I know you can ask for an extension and get extra time.
As previousley mentioned DWP are not interested in your illness so when answering any question your answer is based on your WORST day not on how your feeling.
I'm stage 4 but still only got basic mobility
I agree about telling them your worst days NOT your best, don't try to be brave, they look for any excuse to stop you getting it which is a disgrace considering the number of people who get it on appeal If you're on a lot of meds make sure you list all of those. I filled out an application for a family member and he got it first time! Good luck with it.
Get in touch with PIP and ask for someone to help you with your form. They will probably want a good reason why. Someone from your local HMRC will come out and help and write it all down for you. Please remember to give your worst day rather than what you can do on a good day. They will take the form with them which helps you as you are on oxygen. I hope this helps.
