Hi everyone ,just to let you all know the latest news. All the top nobs have been going over my scans and the head consultant radiologist is now under the impression my nodule is benign .Said a bit risky doing a lung biopsy. because of possible pneumothorax .He's not 100% sure and wants to monitor it for the next two months then another CT scan and then we may have a better picture.Good news but still not out the woods so on we plod .
Love to you all

That’s good news Babs. I’m sure they’ll monitor the size of it for a while, and then decide it’s fine. They’re being very careful, which is the right thing to do. Best wishes to you.
Certainly not bad news at all. My diagnosis was made by radiology and did not have a biopsy because it would have caused harm, so not unusual. Good luck for the next scan and try not to worry.
That sounds promising Babs, When I had a Nodule they said it would be Monitored for 3months, It never grew, so a Biopsy wasn't Needed. Stay calm & Positive Babs. Love n Hugs xxxxx
I have had 2 ct scans lately and have shown module on lung. Went to hospital to see the lung doctor and she feels that the marks are not of any concern. My .mother had tb when I was a baby and doctor believes i could have been infected by mother but my body fought it off and am left with scarred lungs. I did.not know this could happen. They will check regularly with c.f. Scans to see if They have grown or not and will take it from thrre.
