Despite the country being currently under the spell of Storm Hannah, the lovely members of this forum have had a meeting and have made a decision (*cough)

*FibModeOn*

We would love to take you up on your kind offer of a summer BBQ, held somewhere central where we could meet, eat and discuss everything to do with our lung conditions, with you and with each other. Thank you so much.

Please let us have the date as soon as possible so that we can charge our mobility scooters and sharpen our walking sticks

Great idea to get together but wouldnt a picnic be better? Smoke from any source, including BBQs, is the last thing our poor lungs need. Hate to be a party pooper but . . .

Yes I think they will have to take that into account. Although to be fair I’ve been excused duties on the BBQ for a long time, I just don’t sit anywhere near it to avoid the smoke 😊
