I have severe coughing after eating high carbohydrate foods, sugars, breads, pasta and foods with fillers like sausage. Similar to what has been described here where my lungs are filled with fluid. If I discover any other causes, I will post them here.
Regards.

Hi have you been checked out for H. Hernia and/ or reflux ?they are often two of the culprits, also when stomach full diaphragm pushing on to lungs gives similar symptoms. Not a nice sensation huh.
This could possibly be acid reflux or allergies triggering asthma? Would be best to go do doc to get this confirmed though as not sure of your condition/s?
My late husband Bob was allergic to bleached white flour and products made with it. We found out by accident when on holiday in Rhodes in the 80s when the local flour was unbleached and the bread was a golden yellow, and his symptoms improved dramatically. I brought some flour back with me to the UK and made bread with it and he was fine, but when I made bread with UK strong white flour, he got very wheezy. He was also fine when I made bread and baking products with Allinson's wholemeal flour - the company's milling process meant that no bleached flour went into their wholemeal product at that time (not sure if that's still the case now).
I have dreadful coughing after eating because of a hernia and reflux. I find eating smaller, more regular meals helps a bit. You should get it checked out.
