We are on our way to Devon for a short holiday. Thank you to everyone who responded, made my day. Also heard this week that I do not have wet AMD, the laser treatment was because the lens that was inserted at cataract surgery had clouded. The laser has worked a treat and I can now see properly. TWO bits of good news in one week. Hope it continues xx

That is indeed good news. My doctor told me when I had my cataracts done that there is a kind of capsule that the new lenses is in and sometimes they can get cloudy but can be corrected with a laser, so sounds like exactly what happened to you.
