Cough pneumonia

Hi guys I have had pneumonia ,in November my x rays are now clear but I have this cough that won’t go away n is causing me distress if I laugh or breath deep I get the urge to cough has anyone experienced this ??

Hi. Glad you're on the mend. I haven't gone through pneumonia, but from what others have posted on here, it can take 6 months to recover fully. Do speak with your doctor If the symptoms are interfering with your life, or the pharmacist who may be able to suggest something you could try. All the best.

Hi rileyocool when I had a bad bacterial chest infection well that’s what my GP called it but the hospital doctor said it was pneumonia I coughed for months use to go back to GP but never any meds. It took jan to July 2018 and I still cough now if I do strenuous exercise. Take care
