I’m finding it’s taking longer & longer for bleeding to fully dry up after an infection & flare up
The least bit of exertion & it’s as if a little blood vessel bursts & I feel weak again . Actually going to bed is only thing which gives me back strength but when this goes on for few weeks I find it so hard . Dr checked & no infection there but lungs feel so weak & brittle . Just wondering what is the experience of other people on forum
I also took tablets for few days to stop bleeding but once off them same thing again
The blood is dark but recent ...I’m beginning to think there is a very weak blood vessel there .
Really appreciate what others think

Call Emergency now.
This needs to be seen by an expert now. It has gone on for far too long and is making you feel too ill. Your doctor obviously doesn’t know what it is. I suggest that you go to A&E or call an ambulance.
Thanks Littlepom .,I don’t feel ill just weak as if little bleeds start again when I just feel I have my strength back . I’m wondering ifI rested longer would it help . I’m seeing Respiratory consultant Monday so will be interesting to hear what he says . Just wondering why you think I should seek help as soon as possible. Genuinely respect your opinion , maybe I should be taking it more seriously
Now I know that you are seeing your consultant on Monday I am not too worried about you waiting until then. As far as your posts stated, it seemed that you were at the mercy of your GP who was just going to let this go on. Rest totally until you go to see the con. Good luck. Do let us know how you go on.
I had to go to ER on Monday . I was coughing up blood. The PA said it was and inflamed throat and I had a ruptured blood vessel. I ask him why did I have a rumbling in my chest then I coughed up the blood. He said it drained down there. I would of thought I would of tasted it if that was true. When I left they said to make sure I got in touch with my pulmonary Dr. The last time was 2010 and a time or two before.
