It can actually take a few weeks to feel the maximum benefit.

Relatively soon . I certainly know when I haven't taken mine and I really can't do without it .

Hi Emilly,

It works very quickly with me, within a few hours of taking it, but I believe the other comments to be true, as well - it takes a month of taking it before you feel the real benefits. Having said that, my respiratory nurse has put me on Spiolta, which is a combination of tiotropium (which is in spiriva) and Olodaterol. I find this much better and do not have to use Salamol as much. I have severe/very severe emphysema and am 56 - just to give you an idea of my condition and needs.
