Hey guys the bulb went pop in my salt lamp 4 days ago. Although I have always loved the look of it I'm not sure if it's actually made a difference to my health. I now believe it has been making a difference. For the last few days when I haven't had it available I have been suffering with more mucus and a runny nose also feeling quite down. Today I've had a new bulb and had it on all day. Hardly any runny nose and mucus cleared up within an hour. Generally feeling much better and happier. Not sure if it's the salt lamp but have no other explanation. Hey ho just happy to be feeling better.
I have a salt Pipe (Ceramic), been using it for over 3 years now (it is a 5 year Pipe), It has helped me a lot, I use it every Morning when doing my Sats, and evening watching TV. I feel it works for me. xxxx
They are supposed to clean the air and help with breathing. I first heard about them on this forum and thought I'd give it a go. I wasn't really sure if it was helpful until it broke. I got mine from Himalayan Salt Lamps UK. Cost about 15 pounds. I would suggest having a poke about online.
I have been given a gift of a salt lamp and I have to say it certainly had made a difference from my point of view
I like many others in this truly wonderful site was looking for a way to help myself and read about the salt lamps I have Bronchechsis/asthma along with rhino sinusitis
And tests still to confirm another lung issue
I had been looking to take up classes in tai chi etc when my friend told me about the lamp
Soooo when your lamp pops do not despair just pop to the shops thereโs another one there
I just got a new bulb a couple of days ago and I'm definitely feeling better. Bless whoever got your lamp for you. You should definitely still go for the tai chi if you can. I have COPD! Whatever that means. When I pushed for a more exact diagnosis I was told it was probably emphysema. At this point I'm not sure it really matters. I just get on with life the best I can. I'm a big fan of the song Be Happy and Spocks Live Long and Prosper.
