hi there my ct scan shows very mild emphysema and I am really scared! any advice?

Hi don't panic! With very mild emphysema you will live forever! Although this is a progressive disease it rarely progresses quickly especially if you don't smoke and lead a healthy lifestyle with plenty of exercise and a good diet.

To give you an example I was diagnosed mild 10 years ago and am still mild. You would be very unlikely to reach the severe stages and most people die with the illness rather than from it these days. x

no they have not I wont know anything until march 5th when I see my pulmanolagist!
