Oh Bridget, what sad news. Such a dear man, and a sense of humour too. Very sorry to lose him. I believe you’d been married many years so this is a terrible blow. He mentioned what wonderful care you gave him, so I expect you have some lovely memories to draw on. I’m so glad he received such good hospital treatment, that’s reassuring to know. I hardly drink alcohol but am toasting Albert right now with my cup of tea!
