Hello everyone

I just wanted to thank everyone on here who has responded to various of my confused posts since I began this curious lung journey in August 2018. It began with pneumonia which wouldn’t go, and I have a long awaited appointment at the Brompton in March. I appear to have scarring on the lungs, have never smoked, but the tests show obstruction and asthma.

I tend to come and go on here as I’m totally confused about what’s wrong with me, but I just feel better knowing that you are all out there, struggling in your own ways and supporting each other through enormous difficulties. Thank you.

Aw bless. We all started somewhere in our journey with our illness and I can't think of a better place than this to learn more about it. I know I did when I joined many moons ago. x

Thank you so much. When you get such different views on what might be wrong ( ie: ‘well we thought it was bronchecstastis but the scan says no’ or ‘you don’t respond to ventolin on one test but another shows you are asthmatic’ ‘Maybe it’s organising pneumonia - it probably isn’t - etc) it is hard to know what to post any more!! All I know now is that lung problems are not straightforward. I hope you are well xxx
