Hello Mercdes, As you can see I have just joined. I got my Trimbow initially recommended through my Community Respiratory nurse and then on a regular basis through my GP.

Hello and welcome. I don’t know how you get a Trimbow inhaler, I too would be interested to know. Maybe we ask our doctor? It is available on prescription and several people here have it. I don’t know why some people are offered Trimbow and some aren’t. It is quite new, that may have something to do with it.

Ask your gp, or nurse practitioner who deals with your lungs. Or chest consultant. If.it is suitable for you, then there is no reason to not get.it. it does depend on what condition you have and at what stage, as it's not suitable for everyone. But there is no harm in asking

If they say no, then ask why. Hope that.helps. take care

Ask your GP for it.

Have you been palmed off with a diagnosis of COPD, and not been told what your lung disease is? According to NICE "there is NO single diagnostic test for COPD. Making a diagnosis relies on clinical judgement (an educated guess!) based on a combination of history, physical examination, and confirmation of the presence of airflow obstruction using Spirometry" More recently I have been hearing people say they have COPD, but they do not know what type of Lung Disease they have. The term COPD is sloppy, lazy GP talk, make sure you get a proper diagnosis from a Consultant, and don't just accept you have COPD which is NOT a diagnosis according to NICE!
