mctd/pulmonary fibrosis
Hi
I was diagnosed with the same about 10 years ago when I was 36 so if I can be of any help just ask.
So sorry to hear about your long drawn out experience and such a miserable outcome. I hope that someone here will be able to give you some advice etc. That’s devastating to lose your place at college on top of everything else you have had to deal with.
All I can offer is good wishes and hope that the new meds will work quickly so that you feel better in yourself. Do keep posting as everyone here will encourage you on your journey.
Hi Dion3844o1, so sorry to hear your news, after such a long drawn out diagnosis. Did you know that you have rheumatoid arthritis or was this part of the diagnosis, I am asking as when I was first diagnosed my gp said she would keep her eye on my lungs, as this disease causes lung problems. I have bronchiectasis which is nothing to do with ra , but was treated for asthama for years before a ct scan showed up the bronch. I do hope the medication helps and wish you well. Irene x
Thank you all I did get diagnosed with ra before the pf x
Fingers crossed for you xx
