I do enjoy my campervan
Wherever it may be.
Every time I look out here.
There's something new to see.
It's nearly always sunny,
When we go off to roam
Cos if it starts raining.
We pack up and go back home.
I do enjoy my campervan
Wherever it may be.
Every time I look out here.
There's something new to see.
It's nearly always sunny,
When we go off to roam
Cos if it starts raining.
We pack up and go back home.
So we are at the sea-side are we?
I live by the sea, Pete. The photo was taken in Wales and recycled from a year last July. I get short of ideas for a new rhyme and feel I must post something or else you'll all think I've kicked the bucket. 😉
Shouldn't that be bucket and spade given the seaside analogy?
Ski''s and a stay at home cat x
That’s a grave statement, Grasshopper. Once I’ve kick the bucket the spades come will come out. ☠️
So it's not going to be gas mark 9 for 20 mins at the local temple of burning for you Master Po and more of an Al fresco affair with all the associated pageantry,i always knew you had good taste.
I have lived in the same house for nearly fifty years and I intend to stay here permanently. No spreading of ashes for me, so easily blown away. A want a hole dug and my ashes put in there with an eating apple tree planted over me. 🤫
Cox's orange pippin it shall be then Master Po,i do hope you have told the dear Midge that she also has to go with her master,at least she will have a tree to cock her leg upon,
Brilliant! She really does enjoy it
She was looking forward to enjoying some Welsh sniffs. Dogs use a universal language in their s-mails. 😂
I thought it looked like Wales with the hills in the background.
Barmouth. 😊
Had many camping holidays with my wife and daughters in Barmouth .
I’ve been going to Barmouth regularly since the early 1960s when we first stayed in a static caravan by the beach. We didn’t have car. There was a train halt nearby where my children held out their arm to stop a thundering great steam engine to stop to pick us up. An experience they never forgot.
Would that be actually Barmouth, or Morfa Mawddach?? There’s a lovely walk from Morfa halt to Barmouth, via the Fairbourne dingy ferry. Done it lots. Our dog used to rock the boat a bit. After a stand-off with an Alsatian, on the dingy, we didn’t take her on it again!!
Thanks for the poem, Don. Always much appreciated....and the Midge photo today.
Love xx
Loving today's rhyme @Don-Rhymer...... I was waiting with baited breath!
Oh to live beside the sea Side like you and happy Midge. Well, I did for many years in a Lovely warm Climate, I miss it. Thanks again Don for your Poem, & seeing Midge at her Window. just keep them Coming Please. XXX

Love the photo of Midge along with your poem Don, lucky you being so near the sea, makes me want to jump the train to the nearest, but looking out of the window perhaps not x
Aw! Your rhyme and pic has made me feel all summery again even though it's pouring down with rain. Cheers, Don! xx Moy
It’s a memory from last year Moy, 2018 hasn’t been a good year for us for one reason or another.
Sorry to hear your year hasn't been so good. There's a new one coming soon - perhaps it will be better for you! I hope so. Meanwhile, it's always lovely to read your posts and rhymes. You bring much joy to others. xx Moy
Thanks Moy, I have plans that I hope will make it better. 😀😘
😊😊😊😊x
Love your recycled whatever,
I have a postcard in my kitchen with a photo of a campavan and the caption reads
“ Room with a view”
Lovely photo. 😃
With apologies (first attempt after 3/4 bottle of wine)
Dear Don I do enjoy your rhymes
And comments made by Skis
And reading here between the lines
I think you've sensed my need
For travel to places far and wide
If only I was free
Instead I'll stay with hubby at my side
In our warm, cosy home in Leeds.
Best wishes
Corin
I can only say that after that penultimate line, I must try harder. 😉
