Had to take one of my dogs to the vet for her yearly injections, not much fun she hates it and barks as soon as we get through the door! I am surprised they haven't asboed us!
On the way back (1/2hour walk at least), it poured down, terribly so. I got drenched, hair, trousers everything. Got home towel dried, changed dried hair. I do hope it's not going to make my cough worse. We had to go and I don't like putting her in the car she's too hairy!

That is terrible Shancock . Perhaps a nice bath to help you warm up nicely? I really hope your cough doesn't get worse. Do take things easy as a precaution. Take care.
It’s awful to be soaked right through Shancock but stay in the warm and hopefully you’ll be fine. Xxxxx
Hope you haven't had any bad results from your soaking, I got soaked yesterday just getting me and the dogs out of the car. Did you know that dogs don't actually need yearly injections as once they have had jabs for 5 years their immunity is built up for life. When I had 8 dogs it cost me a fortune to have them all jabbed every year, my vet told me it wasn't necessary at all except for the younger two. Bless him, a vet more interested in the welfare of the dog than money. Check it out.
Oh right, problem is its a condition on their insurance policies that they have upto date vaccines
Re insurance, I have a bank account for my dogs, there is now plenty in it for even the most complicated of emergencies, found insurance policies would drop you as quick as a hot potato or up the premiums for long term diseases or elderly dogs.
