Hello Ricardillo and welcome to the forum. We have a Respiratory Equipment for sale thread. Have a look here - healthunlocked.com/blf/post...

Having said that - are you in the UK? If you are and have been advised that you need ambulatory oxygen to get out and about, then the NHS should be able to provide you with a suitable portable oxygen concentrator. Speak to your Respiratory Nurse or GP about this.

Hi Ricardillo,

I live in England and did my most recent walking test about six weeks ago and I was tried with a small portable concentrator. It does up to five litres per minute which is what I need. It was great and I received my own, to replace portable oxygen, the following week.

I hope you live in the UK as it would save you a lot of money.

Long live the NHS!

All the best.

Joan

Don't know if you have tried PRO2 OXYGEN.COM. It helps me get from room to room . it is the type athletes or footballers have when they need a boost of oxygen. I get it from Ebay in a 20litre can and can be used with a facemask or straight from the can it costs about £20. I haven't tried it on a long walk, but I am finding it quite good on my short walks. Thought it might be worth a try.

best of luck with your walking. Judydorney
