Hi peasleycross .
I am very sorry to read about your situation and I don't know what advice I can give. I just want to wish you well and send you a *HUG* . Take good care of yourself.

I am so sorry for you. It is difficult enough to have such a serious diagnoses. But to have your treatment put on hold because of your infection is tough. Has the doc. Done sputum test to determine the right antibiotics to.knock it on the head quickly for you? If not get on to him/her straight away. Sending you caring hugs and a big welcome to the site. Lots of caring people on here.
So sorry to hear of your situation and what a predicament to be in. I will pray they will be able to get your chest infections under control so they ca continue with the chemo, and pray that is successful.
Sorry to hear about you having a cancer diagnosis. Having your treatment put on hold is upsetting (if you are anything like I was, you’ll just want to get on with it). I hope your infection clears soon and wish you all the best.
Praying your infection will resolve quickly so that you can get back to your cancer treatment.
So sorry to hear of your predicament. As Tilantoe said the doctor should be checking a sputum sample so that you're not wasting time on ineffective antibiotics. I hope your infection clears soon so that you can get back to chemotherapy. Nice to meet you by the way and welcome to our "family". Sheila xx
Hope things can be resolved quickly so that you can start the chemo soon. All best wishes x
My husband died of pancreatic cancer so I realise that is bad enough for you without anything else. Another relative has just been told he cannot have the flu jab because he is about to have his thymus gland removed. This has got to be a Consultant's decision in your case. Perhaps a quick course of IV antibiotics? Our thoughts are with you. Keep in touch with us.
Hi peasleycross and welcome to HU.
Sorry to hear of your cancer diagnosis - as if COPD isnt bad enough.
Hope you get the best treatment and stay as healthy as you can.
Take good care of yourself
