Wondering if anyone had similar experiences as I had after a fall and hip replacement in November 2016. After the op during which I had pneumonia I was given an individual room overlooking a hill with lots of trees which still had lots of green foliage. I was admiring the view and the wind got up and in my vision I saw movement and suddenly lots of men rose up wearing old fashioned military clothing, long coats, knee length boots and large rigid hats 🎩 with rifles across their chests. I was fascinated as they formed into lines and rigidly started to walk down the hill. I didn't tell anyone but my husband and daughter. I wasn't on any new medicines at the time. After being transferred to a rehab hospital I spent just one night seeing people emerging from housing and walking down a street to a town centre. This happened every time I closed my eyes. Again I didn't tell anyone. Last week my daughter was researching something at work and discovered that 82% of people who have hip operations see things that are not there. I'm not trying to put anyone off the op which went well, just wondering if anyone else on here had a similar experience and could share what they had seen,

I’ve had similar experiences after taking oramorph, but not so exciting. I wonder if it is an effect of morphine or anaesthetic. My dose of oramorph is tiny, and I only take it occasionally.
