It has come upon my notice
That pet human owning cats,
Have been taking much advantage
Of their pets being slightly bats.
It's long been very clear to all
That normal folk have dogs.
So we should be more careful,
Of those in the care of mogs.
Answer when they want you.
When you hear them call your name.
Treat them as your equal,
Instead of with disdain.
Wag your tail to show you're pleased,
Instead of really cross.
They long since have accepted
That you are there as boss.

I think most dogs like to please their humans but cats usually please themselves 😊My cat Morag is watching me write this , thankfully she can’t read .

Takes me Back to Spain. My First cat "Ponche" was as Big as a small Red Lion and Growled, he had to go out on a Lead. "Cleo" was a Beautiful Girl and Talked to all my International Neighbours, they all said she could reply to them in their Language, I agreed as long as She made them Happy. I do miss a Cat owning me, Maybe one Day one will call in and Lay Claim. Thank You Don , again making a Smile. Love n Hugs XXX
Hi Mr Rhymer, I love that picture and am envious of anyone who is lucky enough to be owned by a feline. I developed an allergy to my kittens after having been owned for many years by a long succession of loving, cuddly & often a little eccentric cats. Please keep up the rhyming it is uplifting x
