I went to see my Gormley friends.
Must must go another day.
Just one lonely chap was there
The rest were out at play.

Thanks Don
Very atmospheric Don. A big word for a Thursday lol.
Take care xxxxx
It gets very busy there, specially during the holidays, but late afternoons in the wintertime particularly, it develops a very strange atmosphere.
Ahh, Crosby Beach & Mr Gormley. Very Good. xxx
Another fine shot from the northern Riviera, bit grim oop north.fine weather for scousers.x
Best keep clear of there young Grasshopper. There's tales of a steroid crazed geriatric person rampaging around in a campervan up there.
I knew it,that was you stripped off on the beach wasn't it Don.midge never believed for one moment that you were "just going for a paddle",anyway that's what she told Scruffy lol xx
It's a long time since I looked anything like that stripped off, if I ever did. I must say that the extreme cold didn't affect certain parts of his anatomy as much as I expected.
High tide? Would love to see them. Actually, would love to see the sea, Gormley men or not. Still haven’t made the return trip since we were snowed in with our Clifftop Cluedo experience.
Love

If you can blow-up the photo with the campervan on you will see hundreds of starlings pecking around the parked cars. They are waiting to give their evening show of the waving black cloud in the sky which is very spectacular. It's worth the journey just to see that from there.
quite a display and all for free, who says holidays oop north aren't a bargain.x
I’m thinking of going to check on Blackpool tomorrow. It will soon be Blackpool Illumination time, another free show up ‘north. 🎡🗼🎢🎠🎆
Lovely Don and Midge!! I feel I’m going a journey. I can smell the sea 🌊
Enjoy Blackpool x

I love those iron men. We have a couple of very life like ones in Birmingham. My memories of Crosby beach is of walking with my dog. He appeared just to be walking quietly down the beach, but in reality he was following a trail of bread, and eating it, that another walker was throwing down for the seagulls!
Oh thankyou so much for that Don I really enjoyed the article. I saw the statues for the first time in June when some relations came from Herts came to stay. They bring all sorts of emotions to the fore. Take care, Sheila xx
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Sheila x
