Hi

There is no harm in taking such a drink, but there is doubt whether the good bacteria ( no longer used in advert, now just says sugar free) actually survives past the stomach acids to be of any benefit.

Just trying anything that I think would do him good I've even got him eating blueberries and he hates them

I'm not going to make him eat them I asked him to try them as hes not had them before and they are full of antioxidants so if he had liked them that them that would have been good. I just asked him to try them I didn't force him to have them he could have said I'm not eating then they are horrible but he didn't he just had them all instead only a few so I did not make him eat them

Lots of info online regarding foods to have that are supposedly good for COPD but nothing that’s really proven. Anything’s worth a try though. Do some research and see where it takes you.

Good luck and wishing you and hubby well. Xxxxx

Hi Outdoors, I use these drinks if I have been on antibiotics as they always make me feel a little sickly. I find they work well but equally so do yoghurts (although yoghurts have to be taken as soon as I begin the meds for them to work). So they will do no harm and may make your hubby feel better, definitely worth trying. Take care both of you. Maximonkey
