Lung Volume Reduction Surgery

I'm due to have LVRS soon. Has anybody here had it recently and would they be willing to tell about their experience?

I had LVRS and it is the best thing i could have done, I feel if i did not have it i would have been dead. But a few days after i got home i got pneumonia on my right lung and a blood clot on my left lung. Be sure you wear the socks and also have the injections in the belly to try stop blood clots

Hi, I had this operation last August, and feel much better for it. Have a look at the related posts on the right, you’ll find others experiences have been generally favourable. Good luck!

I'm due to have it on September 10th .Take the advice on this site it's brilliant .Depends on what op you are having is it valves or the bigger LVRS op ?
