I'm a 24 yr old female, I have a history of asthma, I have a defect on my left lung about 1.1 cm that was discovered when I was pregnant with my first child 3 years ago, my newest is only 4 months, and I feel like when I lay down I am drowning. I feel like my throat is filling with liquid and I am coughing a lot.. I'm almost vomiting from these coughing fits and most nights I'm over-using my inhaler.. I don't understand what's going on. Anyone have any idea what this could be?
Ps. I'm waiting for our new insurance to kick in so I can get a referral to a pulmonologist. We recently moved states and I have to get all new doctors.

I understand, I suffer from allergic asthma. But is well controlled. Get yourself to a pulmonologist ASAP for a diagnosis and treatment.
The nebulizer works for me, it delivers the meds
more uniformly and completely.
Something I have found out is that, sorry, not every doctor is trained to treat asthma, nevertheless they hand you meds. Some of those meds make it worse, while believing the disease is getting worse they hand you more meds...I didn’t get better 😳 until I stopped the nasal sprays and some inhalers.
