Well at long last you’re getting somewhere. Thank goodness for that. Good luck with the weight loss too.

Wishing you well. Xxxx 😘

Abit like myself shadow4me.

For years they kept saying it's only Asthma NO COPD.

Now I am told I have COPD/Underlying Asthma a ventilatory defect OH and Bronchiectasis.

latest Ihave Emphysema. after 18 years of could be might be and endless hospital stays i got:

Last year my lung function for operation was 52% this year continued bouts of pneumonia and Ct showed ground glass opacity lung function 40% THAT WAS APRIL this year.

to Say I am not chuffed with all this would be a huge understatement.

So going by this, I should have snuffed it multiple times over (pinch of salt anyone)!

Oh shadow4me at long last, finally you have your diagnosis. It must be some relief to know that you knew all along, things just weren't right, with previous diagnosis? Now at least you can be treated with the correct medication, although I'd be interested to know what they'll give you, that they've not done so already. I know nothing about asthma with COPD,im just happy for you getting a final outcome after all your appointments etc. Please keep us informed and I hope now you can be put on certain medicines that will make you feel a lot better. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I have ACOS...good self care is needed because the outlook is poorer with both Asthma and COPD!

I use OTC meds sparingly in the pollen seasons.

Good luck

The outlook sadly is the same with or without ACOS until they find a cure for this horrid disease we are all heading the same way what meds have they given you xx
